This one-word warning about the dangerous dangers of driving in a park was created by an Ottawa man after a group of his friends got together to park in a garage.
“It’s a lot of fun but we’ve got to be careful.
There’s always going to be a little risk of getting hurt,” said Ryan Steeves.
The man, who is a father of two, has created this sign at a garage in Ottawa that reads: Parking Lot signs are signs that warn drivers to be cautious when they’re driving through a parking structure.
The sign, which was posted on the side of a parking garage on March 10, was one of a number of signs posted around Ottawa on March 11 warning drivers to watch out for people who park in the parking lot of a building.
One of the signs says, “Parking Lot Signs are signs you need to watch for.
If you see a person in a vehicle, you need not park.”
Another sign warns people to look for people walking around in the garage, or at a place where people are standing.
“People don’t realise that there are a lot more parking structures out there than just the garage,” said Steeks.
“That means they’re probably parked illegally, or they might be trespassing.”
Steeys says people have been parking illegally in his garage for years, and now he’s trying to educate people about how dangerous it can be.
“I’m going to try to educate as many people as possible about what they’re doing,” said he.
“This is a really big problem.
This is one of the most dangerous parking situations.”
There’s no telling how many people are illegally parking in parking structures across Canada, according to the National Park Service.
In Ontario, more than 500 parking structures were identified last year, according a report from the Parks Canada office in Ottawa.
The agency reported that there were over 5,400 violations of parking rules in the province in the year ending March 31, 2016.
There were about 1,700 violations of rules in 2015.
The National Park Police Service says it’s investigating a total of 1,639 parking offences in Canada in 2015 and 2016.
