“The parking lot is packed with people.
There’s a lot of activity.
You’re not just a guy in a vehicle waiting to get in.
You can park wherever you want.
There is plenty of space for you and your family,” said Jennifer Skelton, executive director of the nonprofit parking agency, Parking Partners.
“It’s a great opportunity for people to enjoy the area and connect with the community.
We see people coming from all over the world and that’s what makes it so special.”
For a parking lot with so many cars, many have the option of using a wheelchair or mobility scooter.
The city of Philadelphia recently installed a new ramp that allows people with mobility issues to walk and bicycle in the city’s garages.
The ramps also allow disabled people to walk across parking lots to get to public spaces.
Parking experts say people who need to use a wheelchair can use a scooter for mobility assistance and that scooters can be used in conjunction with other vehicles for a more convenient experience.
