Parking lot pole can be a bit of a hassle when you’re in the car, but it’s also a lot of fun when you do.
That’s because it’s pretty much a freebie.
That being said, the Brookline Parking Lot Divider is a $1,000-per-day solution to park at the Brooklin-Woodstock Shopping Center, the biggest shopping center in the metro area.
The structure is designed to accommodate 4,000 vehicles, according to the company, which plans to expand to accommodate more.
“It’s the best solution I’ve ever seen,” Brookline resident James O’Connor said of the Parking Lot Decider.
“I think it’s the only solution that can actually accommodate the number of vehicles.”
The Parking Lot Division will take up 2,400 square feet of retail space, according, and it’ll be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 8:30 a.mi. to 5 p.p.m, Saturday and Sunday.
If you’re a heavy user of the parking lot, there will be a special shuttle service available to pick you up.

and 10 p,m., but there are restrictions.
The building has a permit for only 3 feet from the curb to the ground.
There’s also no parking on sidewalks.
The Parking Divider was designed by local firm Visceral, which is known for its work in the construction industry.
The company is also a subsidiary of Viscral International, which owns a number of businesses across the U.S., including The Wall Street Journal.
Visceral was hired to design and build the Parking Dividers to accommodate the Brooklines new parking system, which will be open to the public starting next week.
Parking Divides are usually designed by the same company that works on the city’s street signs.
Visco’s website says that the Divider “will make it easier for residents and visitors to enjoy the shopping centers many activities, including the Brookly’s annual Parade and the annual Summer Festival.”
The company also describes the Parking Decider as the “most efficient way to park for the entire shopping center.”
The Brooklin Development Authority and Viscimal are planning to add the Divides to the plaza next year.
The plan is for the structure to be complete by 2019.
